filters have different ratings that indicate how well the filter protects particulate matter/dust or other materials that can be filtered from the air.

Airfixr uses an F7 filter, where F stands for fine.

it can filter animal hair, coarse dust, pollen and particulate matter from large to small in the air.

F7 filter

F7 filter is a particulate filter that can filter the air from coarse to extremely fine dust particles, pollen and animal hair. This makes the Airfixr ideal for use by allergy sufferers. It also filters smoke and exhaust fumes.

The filter is ISO 16890 certified.

particulate matter

particles are the general term for particles floating in the air. These small particles are often in the news in the Netherlands, and the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Netherlands Institute for Environment and Health (RIVM) have also published cases on their websites.
